Heeding the Omens

When Heaven Speaks in Symbols Once More

There are moments when the veil between worlds grows thin —
when creation itself begins to speak again,
and the language is older than words.

Lately, such signs have begun to stir.

A white Iberian lynx — a creature thought impossible — has been spotted in the ancient mountains of Spain. Its pale fur gleams like moonlight against the stones, a living herald from the wild places of Europe.
And not long ago in Britain, a white horse streaked with blood was seen running through the streets of London — a vision from prophecy, standing where saints and kings once prayed.

The omens are returning.

They come not to charm or to frighten, but to awaken.
To remind a sleeping world that myth is not dead, that Heaven still answers, and that creation still bends to speak when men refuse to listen.

Our ancestors knew this language well.
In Scripture, Balaam’s donkey spoke, and a star rose over Bethlehem to announce a King.
The ravens fed Elijah, and a fish bore Jonah back to his calling.
The heavens darkened at the Crucifixion; the earth shook when the tomb was opened.
For those with eyes to see, the natural world has always been a living liturgy — where mountains, beasts, and storms obey the voice of the Creator.

Once, our forebears understood these things.
They read the world as a living scripture.
When a white stag crossed their path, they took it as a call to purity and pursuit.
When storms broke without reason, they prayed.
When comets burned the heavens, they fasted.

We have forgotten how to listen.
We call wonders coincidence, and warnings weather.

But the language of Heaven has not changed.
It is still written in the flight of birds, the birth of rare creatures, the strange and sudden beauty that breaks into the ordinary.
When such signs appear, they are reminders: the story is not over.

The white horse, the white lynx — both symbols of purity touched by judgment, innocence marked by blood, the divine reminding man that there are mysteries unfolding beyond his reach.

God and myth are speaking again.
Those who still have eyes to see it — know.

The question is no longer if Heaven is speaking.
It is whether we have the courage to listen.
